General Information

The foundation of the Health College in Nyíregyháza in 1990 was based on social and labour market demands in our region. The degree programs at our college meant to fill these gaps and since then they have undergone great development both in health sciences and social sciences. The most important change took place in 2000 when our institution became an independent faculty of the University of Debrecen (UD), which is one of the largest and most prestigious universities in Hungary with 14 faculties. Our faculty trains well-qualified health care and social care professionals who are still needed in the labour market.
